Privacy Policy
This policy explains how GK YouTube Tool handles data. GK YouTube Tool is an internal tool that publishes videos to YouTube channels owned and managed by its operator.
1. Who we are
GK YouTube Tool is operated by Gencay Kum (GK Labs). You can reach us at contact@gencaykum.com.
2. YouTube API Services
GK YouTube Tool uses YouTube API Services. By using the tool you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Data processed by Google is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
3. Who uses the tool
The tool is used only by its operator, on YouTube channels the operator owns or manages. It is not offered to the public. It does not access, collect or store data from any other person's Google or YouTube account.
4. Data we access
When the operator signs in with Google, the tool asks for the following permissions:
youtube.upload: upload videos to the operator's channels.youtube.force-ssl: update video titles, descriptions and visibility, set thumbnails and add captions on the operator's own videos.youtube.readonly: read details of the operator's channels and videos.
Through these permissions the tool may read channel and video information (titles, descriptions, IDs, status and basic statistics).
5. How we use the data
We use this data only to upload and manage videos on our own channels. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.
6. Where the data is stored
The tool runs only on the operator's own computer. There is no server, no database and no third-party storage. The following is kept in a local folder on that computer:
- OAuth access and refresh tokens, one file per channel.
- The ID and title of each of our channels, so the tool never uploads to the wrong channel.
- For each video we upload: its YouTube video ID, upload status and the title and description we wrote for it.
- An estimate of the API quota used each day.
Nothing is uploaded anywhere other than to YouTube itself.
7. Sharing
We do not sell, share or transfer YouTube or Google user data to anyone.
GK YouTube Tool's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
8. Retention and deletion
Tokens are kept only as long as the operator uses the tool. Deleting the local token file removes all stored access on our side. Other YouTube data is not kept beyond what is listed above; if any is ever stored, it is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, as required by the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.

9. Revoking access
Access granted to GK YouTube Tool can be revoked at any time from the Google security settings page: security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
10. This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts, and it has no forms. Our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and operation.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
